Delve into
works of art through a variety of drawing exercises in our galleries. Classroom experiences will focus on new
approaches and techniques to enhance painting skills and personal artistic
style.

Workshops Silk Painting Workshop
with Julie Wulf

Montana native Julie Wulf
brings a love of color and the spirit of nature to her batiks, watercolors, and
silk paintings. A signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona, Julie has won
awards in shows throughout the West.
“Dye-ing” to learn about silk painting? Julie will guide students through the process
of creating frame-ready art – dye painted on stretched silk. Bring an idea or sketch to class to begin on
your 15”x 18” finished work.

Decorating

Create beautiful Pysanky
(Ukrainian Easter Eggs) using beeswax and dyes.
Step by step instruction will include using a kistka to draw melted wax
designs; applying dyes; wax removal; and finishing touches. All materials and tools will be provided for
in class use.
